Club Meetings and Information

The Northwest Miniature Horse Club meets twice a year, once in the Fall and once in the Winter. Our Fall Meeting is normally held in the first few weeks of November. The day starts with a board meeting that all are invited to attend. The General Membership Meeting includes electing new officers for the coming year, forming new committees, AMHA Director's Report, a full Financial Report, and a lively discussion with our Show Manager regarding our club shows. Voting on issues, bringing forth new ideas and getting to know one another makes this a full and fun day. The day is capped off with our Annual Awards Banquet, where members are recognized for their hard work and wins in the show ring. Getting great awards and visiting with friends over dinner provides the perfect ending to the day!

The Winter Meeting is our main Membership Meeting. New officers are inducted, committees that were formed in November share their plans for the year, the Treasures give a detailed financial outlook for the year, the Show Manager announces judges for the shows and new items are brought forth and voted on. The upcoming show season is discussed in detail, with coordinators being confirmed, information being shared and fun events for each show planned.
